As a volunteer foster for PitStop Pit Bull Rescue Transport you will provide a loving home, routine, and structure for your foster dog. #TeamPitStop will provide food, crate, leash, collar, toys, and treats.
Our goal is to provide a foundation that the dog needs to be successful in their forever home. This would include things like potty training, learning basic commands (sit, down, stay), socialization with other animals, and routine exercise / play.
If you are interested in becoming a foster, please review the foster agreement below. Please direct any questions via email to ContactUs@pspbrt.org.
Volunteer transport drivers for PitStop Pit Bull Rescue Transport will receive lots of love and gratitude from shelter/rescue animals as they move on to the next phase of their life.
Volunteer transporters donate their time and use of their vehicle to get shelter/rescue dogs where they need to go.
Transport runs are normally broken into 60 to 80 mile segments. There could be multiple drivers depending on the length of the transport.
Volunteer drivers must be 21 years of age or older, have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license and insurance.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer transporter, please fill out the volunteer form below and return it via email to ContactUs@pspbrt.org.
#TeamPitStop has many events and community projects throughout the year. Each of these require volunteers to ensure that we are adequately staffed to assist people during the event.
Events can range from Dog Washes to an Extreme Shelter Makeover. For each event we will reach out to our volunteer pool and provide event details to see if you are interested in participating.
